Source text - English Empower your in-country reviewers to have the final say
At XXX we make every possible effort to ensure our translations are accurate and in keeping with the style guidelines and terminology glossaries of our clients. However, a vital part of an effective translation process is having the translation reviewed/validated by a representative of your company who is involved in the target market and a native speaker of the target language. This ensures that any preferential linguistic changes can be incorporated into the final translation.
One of the main concerns of any language reviewer is becoming overloaded with high volumes of translated material to review and approve as it may affect the quality of their work. XXX have increased the efficiency of the review process for our clients by introducing a new review format called SmartReview™.
A typical review method used by other translation providers is for the translation supplier to provide the reviewer with the full translation in the original file format. When the format is simple, for example Microsoft® Word, the reviewers then make their edits where appropriate. However, in the case of more complex formats, for example XML documents or many desktop publishing (DTP) formats, reviewers choose to make their amendments in different ways, ranging from annotated PDF files to emails stipulating page and line numbers where the amendments must be made, or even faxed documents containing hand-written corrections. When finished, the reviewer will email the edited file back to the translation vendor for final proofing – or the reviewer will simply publish the document directly.
There are many problems with this traditional review process:
• Reviewers are usually very busy, having other responsibilities, and reviewing translations is not a priority. Consequently, reviews are rushed and deadlines are missed.
• Reviewers cannot tell from the translations what has been translated before, what they have already reviewed and what is new. Therefore they review all the text within a document or section, even though only one sentence may have changed.
• Reviewers cannot see the source language and are therefore unable to ensure that the original message has been carried across to the translation. To compare against the source language, by printing out copies or switching between documents on-screen, requires a very time-consuming process, with reviewers often losing their place in each document.
• Reviewers cannot be assured that the changes they make will be included in the final files, so there will tend to be multiple reviews to ensure that all the reviewers’ amendments have been incorporated. This increases the overall turnaround time of the entire translation process.
• It is also very difficult – and time-consuming – to update the translation memory with the reviewers’ changes, especially if they are received as annotations in a PDF or faxed hand-written comments. When the translation memory isn't updated, the reviewers have to keep making the same amendments time and time again.
XXX is presently the only translation services company to offer an effective and efficient review process as part of our standard service. This allows the reviewer to review the translated text quickly, making changes when necessary, whilst making reference to the source text. The tool is accessible to anyone with a web browser and is password protected and 128-bit SSL encrypted for optimum security.
XXX’s development of this software means the reviewer does not waste time validating content that has already been reviewed and approved. A great advantage in this process is the colour-coding applied to the translations so the reviewer can quickly identify new or changed sections based on leverage against Translation Memory.

Desktop Board Specification Update
This document is an update to the specifications contained in the D845GEBV2 Technical Product Specification (Order Number C14584). It is intended for hardware system manufacturers and software developers of applications, operating systems, or tools. It contains specification changes, errata, specification clarifications, and documentation changes.
Specification Changes are modifications to the current published specifications. These changes will be incorporated in the next release of the specifications.
Errata are design defects or errors. Characterized errata may cause the D845GEBV2 desktop board's behavior to deviate from published specifications. Hardware and software designed to be used with any given Printed Board Assembly (PBA) and BIOS revision level must assume that all errata documented for that PBA and BIOS revision are present on all desktop boards.
Specification Clarifications describe a specification in greater detail or further highlight a specification's impact to a complex design situation. These clarifications will be incorporated in the next release of the specifications.
Documentation Changes include typos, errors, or omissions from the current published specifications. These changes will be incorporated in the next release of the specifications.
This location contains the most current Specification Update. The revision number is indicated by the last two digits in its 'pdf' file name.

We subject to market rate risks due to fluctuations in interest rates. The majority of our debt is variable rate short-term and long-term Renminbi denominated loans obtained from banks in China. The interest rates of such loans are generally established in accordance with directives announced from time to time by the People’s Bank of China, which are in turn affected by various factors such as the general economic conditions in China and the monetary polices of the Chinese government. There is no ready market in China for the Company to enter into interest rate swaps or other instruments designed to mitigate its exposure to interest rate risks.
We are exposed to foreign currency risk as a result of having to obtain certain key components used in the manufacturing of XXX’s heavy-duty engines from overseas suppliers. At December 31, 2004, we did not have any loans that were denominated in a foreign currency.
