I am an enthusiastic language nerd with excellent skills in translating English to Swedish and producing high quality, localized texts. I have been working as a freelance translator since 2019 (F-tax certificate), specializing in e-learning, marketing, IT, HR, personal development, along with website, app and software translation and localization. I have experience of most major CAT-tools (memoQ, memsource/Phrase, SDL Trados, Crowdin, Smartling, Smartcat, etc.) and have been working both with translation, localization, proofreading, MT post edit and LQA. 

From 2021 to 2023 I was freelancing full time for GoodHabitz – one of Europe’s leading e- learning companies. My tasks involved translating and localizing their online courses that focus both on digital and soft skills. I was part of the Swedish team since the very beginning and worked on creating a style guide and glossary, as well as perfecting the tone of voice. I also translated and localized the entire website of the course library, the marketing website, their marketing app PromoStudio, and much more. Moreover, I researched, planned, and did online video interviews with experts for the courses, as well as travelled to the main office in Eindhoven for a week to supervise the recording of 300 host videos for our course library. My former team lead at GoodHabitz was very satisfied with my work (a Letter of Recommendation is available upon request).

Since August 2023 I’m freelancing on a regular basis for Trustpilot – one of the most trusted online review plattforms. My work with them include both translation and localization of the product, marketing material and support articles, as well as LQA using Figma and Hubspot. Other clients that I do translation/localization work for include a well known cloud based storage app that I have a long term collaboration with since 2022. I also collaborate with a health app that is entering the Swedish market, as well as a Mac cleaner app. Constantly delivering top quality results is something I am very passionate about and I thrive in a fast pace environment with many challenges.

I have an M.A in Translation studies (English to Swedish) from 2020, and a B.A in English from 2019. With a very solid background of university studies of more than 400 ECTS credits, I have a lot of experience in working with and producing high quality texts. My key strengths are anything and everything related to language and writing.
