As early as the first weeks of lectures at the Vertaalacademie, back in September 2010, I knew translation was my cup of tea. Two specialised degrees and over four years' worth of experience later, I am fortunate enough to make a living out of what I love doing. My main area of expertise is legal translation and I have been sworn in as a translator at the district court of Maastricht. However, I find myself translating very diverse marketing texts as well. I must say I enjoy alternating serious legal documents, which require in-depth research and precise wording, with playful marketing, packed with alliterations and puns.

Of course, translation is a lot of fun, but it is also serious business. I try to achieve a professional service with prompt replies to questions and requests. Clients expect high-quality translation and I aim to delivery exactly that, every time and on time.
