Italian to Spanish: TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCE IN MEDICINE. General field: Medical Detailed field: Medical (general)

English to Spanish: Caperucita Roja- Little Red Riding Hood General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Poetry & Literature
Source text - English Little Red Riding Hood, Version by the Grimm Brothers.
Once upon a time, there was a very beautiful little girl. Her mom had made her a red cloak and the little girl wore it on all the time so that the everybody around called her Little Red Riding Hood.
Certain day, her mom asked her to take some cakes to her grandmother who was living on the other side of the forest, advising her not to get distracted on the road, for the frest was a dangerous place, since the wolf was always there lurking around.
Litte Red Riding Hood picked up the basket full of cakes and got on her way. The girl had to go across to get to her Grandma's place, but she was not scared for she always bumped into many of her friends: the birds, the squirrels...
Suddenly she saw the wolf, which was huge, in front of her.
- Where are you going, girl? - the wolf asked with a hoarse voice.
- To my Grandma's house - said Little Red Riding Hood.
- It's not far away - the wolf thought to himself, turning around.
Little Red Riding Hood put her basket on the grass and amused herself taking flowers: - The wolf is gone, she thought, I have nothing to fear. Grandma will be very happy when I bring her a beautiful bouquet of flowers in addition to the cakes.
Meanwhile, the wolf went to Grandma's house, knocked softly on the door and the old woman opened it thinking it was Little Red Riding Hood. A hunter passing by had observed the arrival of the wolf.
The wolf devoured Granny and put on the unfortunate's pink hat, got into bed and closed his eyes. He did not have to wait long, for Little Red Riding Hood arrived immediately, very happy. The girl approached the bed and saw that her grandmother was very changed.
- Granny, grandma, what big eyes you have!
- They are to see you better - said the wolf trying to imitate the voice of the grandmother.
- Granny, grandma, what big ears you have!
- They are to hear you better - continued the wolf.
- Granny, grandma, what big teeth you have!
- They're to ... eat you better! - and saying this, the evil wolf pounced on the little girl and devoured her, just as he had done with the grandmother.
Meanwhile, the hunter had been worried and believing to guess the bad intentions of the wolf, decided to take a look to see if everything was going well in the house of the Grandmother. As he got to the house, he saw the door open and the wolf laying on the bed, asleep for how tired he was
The hunter took out his knife and split the belly of the wolf. Granny and Little Red Riding Hood were there, alive!
To punish the bad wolf, the hunter filled his stomach with stones and then closed it again. When the wolf awoke from his heavy sleep, he felt very thirsty and went to a nearby pond to drink. As the stones weighed a lot, he fell into the pond and drowned.
As for Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother, they suffered onlya great shock, but Little Red Riding Hood had learned the lesson. She promised his Grandmother not to talk to any stranger on the road. From now on, he would follow the judicious recommendations of his Granny and his Mom.
- ¿A dónde vas, niña?

My name is
Sergio Martinez and I am a professional translator with expertise in
educational / medical / legal and technical documents. I was born in Santander
(Colombia). When i was 3 years old, my parents moved to San Andres Island
(Colombia) because of their job demands; and i lived there until i was 12 years
old. People in the island speak English and Spanish, so i grew up communicating
and interacting in both languages, for which, i consider both languages as my
mother tongues.
My mission:
Growing up in a
place where the poverty rate is high and where I suffer the most are children,
made me aware of the situation in the world and led me to discover my two
biggest passions in life: languages and children. From that moment, I have
invested most of my time not only in learning language skills and being a great
translator, but also in learning from children and offering them all of my
knowledge.
My studies and certificates:
I have a MA in
translation (French to Spanish) granted by the University of Colombia, a
language tutoring degree granted by Industrial University of Santander. I also
certified as a translator, being granted an IoLET DipTrans (Italian to English)
by the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).
Right now, I'm
on my way to getting my second degree- (bachelor’s in medicine), which I'm
supposed to have in my hands by 2023.
