I represent a team of excellent translators and interpreters. We live in the United States and are native speakers of English and/or the languages that we work with (see below). Besides our professional credentials and experience in the field of translation and interpreting, we all have either employment or educational background in the fields that we work with (i.e. law, insurance, engineering, IT—some of us are attorneys, insurance agents, engineers, etc.) Depending on your project, the person who is most qualified for it will be submitting their resume.
And please remember: all work is always proofread by someone who is a native speaker of the language that the piece has been translated to (to assure that it sounds like it should to the audience that the message is intended for), AND has professional background in the subject (such as a mechanic for an equipment maintenance manual, etc.) to assure that correct terminology is always used.
