I graduated at the Faculty of Humanities and
Social Sciences in Zagreb, where I studied French language and literature and
Art history. I'm a court interpreter for French and English and I have a
Cambridge certificate of proficiency in English (CPE), level C2. At the beginning of my career, I worked as an assistant in an international bank which was also the
beginning of my work in the field of foreign languages. Working as an
assistant, I learned a lot about administration and organization: I was
communicating with clients and employees in French, English and Croatian, translating
various documents, organizing small internal events, planning meetings and
business trips, doing daily office tasks, and all of these duties contributed
to the development of my career. In 2013 I went to Luxembourg, where I spent three months as a translation trainee
in the European parliament. Working in a dynamic and multicultural atmosphere
impressed me greatly and certainly represents a turning point in my career.
After returning to Zagreb, I founded my own small company for providing
translation and teaching services.
I also do the revisions,
and I have worked on different projects, from marketing and tourism to finance
and EU documents. My translation work today mostly includes translating personal (ID, dipomas, certificates...) and business (financial statements, extracts from the register, invoices, contracts...) documents as well as various documents of the European institutions (in cooperation with other translation agencies). |
