When Paula's not translating from English and Spanish into Brazilian Portuguese, she's teaching Conference Interpreting at Alumni, the most prestigious interpretation school in Brazil. In the booth, she's translated from celebrities like Sandra Bullock and Will Smith to politicians like American Vice-President Kamala Harris, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and Former Brazilian President Michel Temer, working at events with thousands of listeners and live broadcasts to global audiences. She has 10+ years of experience interpreting conferences, symposiums, meetings, audits, market research and trainings in a wide array of fields ranging from business, human rights, education, marketing and entertainment to IT, sales and banking, just to name a few. Paula's fully equipped and trained for the new normal of RSI (Remote Simultaneous Interpretation), which she now provides from her office to the world.

Paula's work in written translation is heavily geared towards crafting well-written texts that sound elegant and natural to a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker—hence all her expertise in the creative realms of transcreation and game localization. Her first console was a Master System Girl her parents got her for her birthday when she was six, and she's been playing videogames ever since. She's had the pleasure of translating AAA games for PS4, XboxOne, PS3, Xbox360, Nintendo Switch, Facebook and mobile platforms, including titles like The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4 and ZombiU over the last decade. Paula has since become a reference for videogame localization and interpretation in Brazil.
