I have 45 years long experience in the linguistic field and I know 5
languages, some of which she speaks fluently (French, English and Italian). I
have been working in the translation, editing, writing and communication field
since 1971. I have worked as a translator-terminologist-interpreter in Germany (Robert
Bosh GmbH in Stuttgart) in the field of automotive and household equipment, and
as a translator-editor-writer in Canada, à Ottawa. I have translated more than
100 books in numerous fields: spirituality, personal growth, physics and post-quantum
physics, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong, natural sciences, nutrition,
diet, politics, culinary arts, children books, fiction, etc. When I had my own
company in Ottawa (Production and Communication Ollivier Inc.) during 10 years,
I provided translation, editing, writing and desktop publishing services to
more than 50 federal and provincial departments, and to numerous private
companies. As such, I have worked on thousands of books, magazines, documents,
speeches, conference reports, exhibits, brochures, posters, publicity, press
releases, annual reports, data bases, web pages, etc. I also taught French as a
second language (Berlitz and Official Languages Department in Canada), as well
as German (Berlitz). Finally, my training as a group facilitator has been a
great asset, as much in the teaching field as in the business one.
