I specialise in IT and corporate communications. Over my 18 years in the
business, I’ve also successfully undertaken translation projects in a variety
of other domains, including sustainability, logistics, GDPR and marketing.

Summary

- Graduated in 1999 with an Honours Degree in Business & German from the University of Limerick in Ireland.
This included a semester at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz, Austria, where all subjects were taken through German.

- Worked from Jan 2001 - May 2004 in Munich, Germany, as a technical project manager with one of the world's
leading telecommunications companies.

- Worked from June 2004 - August 2004 with Thomson ISI in Limerick as a
German-English translator on their Century of Science project.

- In May 2005 concluded a Postgraduate Diploma in Computing at the University of Limerick,
awarded 1st Class Honours.

- Full-time freelance translator since May 2005, specialising in IT and business communications but also available for general texts.

- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification earned in June 2021.
