I am a graduate student of translation and interpreting at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.
I always had a passion for languages and literature, which led me to choose translation as my field of study.
I work as a volunteer translator for multiple civic associations in Slovakia and as a part-time English teacher in a language school.
My range of interests is wide - I enjoy literary, technical, scientific and audiovisual translation, as well as interpreting.

With background in bilingual (Slovak-English) Commercial academy as high school, I further pursued English in the field of translations first in combination with Slovak, later on changed to combination in Finnish as my undergraduate study.

Currently doing small translations and part-time working in a translation agency on proofreading, post-editing, and research, I am aiming to graduate with more than just knowledge of what translations are. The field grows and we must seek new approaches.
