Pont az a lényege, hogy még viszonylag elfogadható hőmérsékleten is ilyenné válhat a láb. A lényeg, hogy sokáig viszonylag hűvös vízben, zokni/cipő csere nélkül, vizes körülmények között tartózkodik valaki.
