When I try to open a SDLXLIFF file provided by my client in my WordfastPro, I always get the same error message:
"Error converting ......docx.sdlxliff. Reason: java.lang.RuntimeException: SDLXLIFF is not pretranslated (target slot missing)"
I asked the client about this, but they do not know how to solve it.
Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Cristina

sdlxliff in Wf Pro
Nov 29, 2017
Wordfast Pro works on bilingual tables and a virgin sdlxliff file contains only one language. Your client needs to pretranslate the file (even against an empty TM or by copying the source to the target) and this process will generate a bilingual table in Trados. The client then saves the sdlxliff file and sends it to you for import and translation in Wf Pro. Yes, it is so simple. Good luck!
