French clients are reporting increased bank charges when paying my invoices from their French accounts to my UK account and I have been looking into alternatives to the traditional bank transfer route. Has anybody used TransferWise to transfer money? They offer a peer-to-peer style system of arranging transfers and are very cheap and, apparently, reliable. I thought SEPA transfers which are pretty much common practice throughout the EU now were relatively cheap these days.
