How can I reset a segment when running Transit in VMware Fusion? The FAQ at http://www.star-uk.co.uk/star-software/transit/transit-faqs.html states:

However, when I press this keyboard shortcut in Transit while it's running in VMware Fusion, I get the blue screen to activate the Windows Task Manager.

To answer my own question: perhaps it's a solution to define a macro that is triggered by another keyboard shortcut.

Add to quick access toolbar Dec 22, 2017

Hi Hans,

another workaround I use for keyboard combinations that might not be easily available in certain circumstances is to add the specific task to the quick access toolbar via the user preferences menu and then use Alt+the number of the icon in the quick access toolbar.

However, for resetting a segment, this might be a more time-consuming solution than creating a macro with specific keyboard shortcut.

Best regards
Iris

Some other keys to try Jan 14, 2018

What keyboard do you use? And which keys exactly are you pressing?

Maybe applying some of the tips there in reverse could help.
Also, there might be some custom key mappings - maybe the section https://pubs.vmware.com/fusion-6/index.jsp#com.vmware.fusion.help.doc/GUID-8C5CE984-150F-4B7A-BAE4-791851F92CB2.html could help.

Since I don't have a Mac, I have no idea about the way VMWare Fusion works, so I'm just guessing here.
