Regex tagger for text between vertical line

Hi guys,
I have a software text, and I need to apply a regex rule for a text between vertical line, for example:

|action| |change_amount| |change_type| below median price of |competitors|
|action| |change_amount| |change_type| above |competitor|

I'd appreciate if you can assist me with the regex tagger rule, which will define this requirement so it won't be translated

Try this:

Regex: \|(.*?)\|
Tag type: Empty
Check 'Required' if you want memoQ to alert you when you miss such tag in the target.
Display text: $0
$0 here means that each tag will contain the original text (<action>, <change_amount>, etc.).
Alternatively, instead of $0 you can type any other description, e.g. 'untranslatable'. In this case, all such tags will appear the same (<untranslatable>)

Had t o amend regex. This one works:
\|(.*?)\|
