As sort of an experiment, I am conducting a small survey of the various online CAT tools currently available. See my list below. Have I missed any?

MemoQ WebTrans Sep 24, 2016

I still haven't had the chance to use it myself, but I heard of it, and it seems to be a "browser version" of MQ.

I've added to my list! Apparently, there is also an online version of SDL Studio, just can't remember what it's called.

You're welcome, Michael

As for the SDL product, it appears its name is "SDL Online Translation Editor", but I had never heard/read of it before you mentioned it here.

first thing that struck me Sep 24, 2016

Tried Lilt and MateCat, but the first thing that struck me is you're screwed if you're on a tight deadline and want to quickly attach a 500 MB TM to your project.

As far as I'm aware Webstransit is not really a CAT tool as such, but only used for file and project transfer.

translate5 is a basic left-segment-source-language right-segment-target-language, web-based translation productivity tool. Open a project, import XLIFF, start translating. For MT post-editing, the tool connects to Moses-based MT systems.

What do you mean by "online"? Sep 28, 2016

Michael Joseph Wdowiak Beijer wrote:

Do you mean "accessible via a web browser" or do you mean "must be connected to the internet to function properly"?

Although I primarily mean the former. Basically, I'm doing a (very quick and very unprofessional) survey of all the non-locally installed CAT tools around at the moment, and trying to test them all. Just for kicks. And because I like to keep an eye on what people are up to, potentially with a view to borrowing interesting new ideas.
