Any way to remove words with spelling mistakes from Autocomplete? Thread poster: Piotr Bienkowski
|
Autocomplete in CT is great. After translating a dozen or so segments it starts adapting to my style of writing and word choice. But when I make a spelling mistake, even if I correct it immediately, the misspelled word finds its way into the Autocomplete list and I need to be careful. Can anything be done about it? By the way, it seems that I am the only OP here lately. | | | Igor Kmitowski Poland Local time: 07:14 Member (2016) English to Polish + ... Shortcut to remove words from Autocomplete | Jan 13, 2016 |

Cheers, Igor Although I know this is listed under Edit > Preferences > Keyboard shortcuts, I always forget that shortcut too. I always try to find it under the Translate menu As for the Keyboard Shortcuts list: I am still missing a way to export shortcuts to a text/html page Moreover, I would like to see a thicker line between grouped shortcuts and the icons where applicable. | | | And because it's not in the Menu... | Jan 14, 2016 |
Selcuk Akyuz wrote: I always try to find it under the Translate menu ...I can't print it. I can only print CT's keyboard shortcuts that are shown in the Menu. As a searchable PDF, not HTML/TXT. And for OS X, of course. Cheers, Hans

Autocomplete list suggestions may come from memories, glossaries, MT and previously typed words. As for previously typed words, where are they stored, in a file or in RAM? | | | Igor Kmitowski Poland Local time: 07:14 Member (2016) English to Polish + ... Dynamic Autocompletion | Jan 29, 2016 |
The Auto-completion in CafeTran is dynamic. The program analyzes the currently-translated segment in real time and generates the list of auto-suggestions on the fly.

Yeah, I realized that. I must correct myself. If there is only one, misspelled autocomplete entry, it can be purged, too. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Any way to remove words with spelling mistakes from Autocomplete?
