How do you import XLIFF files in CafeTran?

[Sorry for the addition "without capital letters" in the subject line, but a note says you can't use "all caps".]

How do you import/translate XLIFF files in CafeTran? Can you translate them in CafeTran directly?

Hello,

In the Project Manager, click the Translate TTX, SDLXLIFF or SDLPPX files and next choose a SDLXLIFF file or folder with your files. CafeTran will glue them and display for translation in its grid. After you finish the translation, choose Project | Save Project.

If your SDLXLIFF files are packaged in the SDLPPX project file, choose this file in the Project Manager. After you finish the translation, select Project | Save Project As..., and choose Package as the ty

The normal way would be to process the SDL package but in the Wiki I've found this:
