Source text - English All travel is now merely a means of moving a camera from place to place, all travellers are ruled by the all-powerful lens. Visitors old-fashioned enough to wish only to stand and look with their anachronistic eyes are shoved aside by the photographers, who take it for granted that while they do their ritual focusing, nothing else may move or cross their vision. Those peculiar souls without a camera must step aside for those more properly occupied, must wait while the rituals take place, and must bide their time while whole coaches stop and unleash upon the landscape the Instamatic God. And the populations of whole countries seeing themselves cannibalised, swallowed up, vacuumed into the black-ringed staring eye, wrench what they can from the cannibals. You want picture my house, my camel? You pay.
None of this would matter, perhaps, if anything worthwhile was being accomplished. If all the constant busyness and clicking produced, at its end, what had not existed before, images of beauty captured or truth told. But, sadly, this isn't so. The camera is simply graffiti made respectable.
The camera is the means by which we stamp ourselves on everything we see, under cover of recording the Wonders of the World already wonderfully
recorded by professionals and on sale at every corner bookshop and newsagent. But what use to show Aunt Maud, back home, postcards of the Tuscan landscape, since we are not in the picture to prove that we were there?
No stretch of rocks has verity unless I am within it. No monument exists
but for my wife, leaning against it. No temple is of interest without my face beside it, grinning. With my camera I appropriate everything beautiful, possess it, shrink it, domesticate it, and reproduce it on my blank sitting-room wall to prove to a selected audience of friends and family the one absolutely vital fact about these beauties: I saw them, I was there, I photographed them, and, ergo, they are.

A fényképezőgép arra szolgál, hogy mindenre rásüssük saját létünk bélyegét azzal az ürüggyel, hogy a Világ Csodáit örökítjük meg; oda se neki, hogy ezt a profik már megtették előttünk, és pazar felvételeik bármelyik sarki újságosnál vagy könyvesboltban kaphatók. Ugyan, mire menne bárki is azzal, hogy képeslapokat mutogat otthon Gizi néninek Toszkána lankáiról, ha egyszer nincs rajta ő maga a képen, bizonyítandó, hogy tényleg járt ott?

Astonishingly, I wait for thirty-nine minutes and don’t see one person I know. Not one, and no-one knows me. I’m as anonymous as the drivers with their universal name-cards (some surnames I know), except the drivers are better dressed. Since the kids, whatever I wear looks like pyjamas. Coats, shirts, T-shirts, jeans, suits; like slept-in pyjamas. (...)
I hear myself thinking about all the people I know who have let me down by not leaving early on a Tuesday morning for glamorous European destinations. My former colleagues from the insurance office must still be stuck at their desks, like I always said they would be, when I was stuck there too, wasting my time and unable to settle while Ally moved steadily onward, getting her PhD and her first research fellowship at Reading University, her first promotion.
Our more recent grown-up friends, who have serious jobs and who therefore I half expect to be seeing any moment now, tell me that home-making is a perfectly decent occupation for a man, courageous even, yes, manly to stay at home with the kids. These friends of ours are primarily Ally’s friends. I don’t seem to know anyone anymore, and away from the children and the overhead planes, hearing myself think, I hear the thoughts of a whinger. I start crying, not grimacing or sobbing, just big silent tears rolling down my cheeks. I don’t want anyone I know to see me crying, because I’m not the kind of person who cracks up at Heathrow airport some nothing Tuesday morning. I manage our house impeccably, like a business. Source text - English I remember reading once that some fellows use language to conceal thought, but it's been my experience that a good many more use it instead of thought.
A businessman's conversation should be regulated by fewer and simpler rules than any other function of the human animal. They are:
Have something to say.
Say it.
Stop talking.
Beginning before you know what you want to say and keeping on after you have said it lands a merchant in a lawsuit or the poorhouse, and the first is a short cut to the second. I maintain a legal department here, and it costs a lot of money, but it's to keep me from going to law.
It's all right when you are calling on a girl or talking with friends after dinner to run a conversation like a Sunday-school excursion, with stops to pick flowers; but in the office your sentences should be the shortest distance possible between periods. Cut out the introduction and the peroration, and stop before you get to secondly. You've got to preach short sermons to catch sinners; and deacons won't believe they need long ones themselves. Give fools the first and women the last word. The meat's always in the middle of the sandwich. Of course, a light butter on either side of it doesn't do any harm if it's intended for a man who likes butter.
Remember, too, that it's easier to look wise than to talk wisdom. Say less than the other fellow and listen more than you talk; for when a man's listening he isn't telling on himself and he's flattering the fellow who is. Give most men a good listener and most women enough note-paper and they'll tell all they know. Money talks -- but not unless its owner has a loose tongue, and then its remarks are always offensive. Poverty talks, too, but nobody wants to hear what it has to say.

This section explains aspects of the C language specifications that depend on the operation of the compiler and the microcomputer.
Translation Limits
The program size possible to compile is specified as part of the ANSI C language standard. ANSI-conforming compilers must be able to compile programs up to that size. Conversely, if a program is developed so that its size falls within those limits, it is guaranteed that any ANSI-conforming compiler will be able to compile it.
The ABCXX is capable of compiling programs up to the sizes described below. If a program that exceeds these limits is compiled, a diagnostic message will be issued and the compilation will be terminated. In this case, the size of the program must be reduced and it must be recompiled.

The ABCXX extends some of the translation limits. The “ANSI Standard” column contains the figures specified by the ANSI standard, and should be used as a reference when developing programs. Even if there is no limit considering the compiler’s processing, other factors, such as the memory capacity of the host machine, etc. may present additional limitations.

The “New Pack” dialog box appears. Enter the name of the new Data Pack.
The Data Pack is added to the Pack list (in the project window).
Pack information can be checked in this window. “Pack Name” and “LimitSize” can be modified, and a "Memo” can be added.
Press the [Edit] button at the bottom of the project window to edit the contents of the Data Pack. (Double-clicking the Data Pack number will also switch to edit mode.)
When the Data Pack is set to edit mode, the project window displays the contents of the Pack.
Press the [PACK] button at the bottom of the project window to return to the Pack list. When the Data Pack is in edit mode, the data lists can be displayed by clicking on the category buttons at the top of the window.

If the backup data gets deleted, repeat the firmware backup.

Reason: Some areas of the ABC card may become inaccessible, and may result in insufficient capacity.
If the capacity of the ABC card becomes insufficient, format the ABC card using the PC, then rewrite the scanXXX.mot (firmware) and the boot.cfs (boot-up specification file) to the ABC card.

1. Waterproofing and dust proofing
(1) The protection inside the motor conforms to the IEC standard (IEC34-5). However, this standard is only for short-term use; for regular use, other sealing measures are necessary. Be sure to handle the connector carefully as damage to the exterior of the connector (painted surface) can reduce the waterproofing ability.
(2) The motor waterproofing is of IPX 7 class level, but still requires careful handling. If the motor is continuously wet, due to the respiratory effect of the motor, the liquid can enter inside the motor.
(3) Install a protective cover to prevent corrosion of the coating and the seal material caused by certain types of (especially water soluble) coolants.
(4) XYZ1- and XYZ2-series motors with canon plugs are only IP67 rated if waterproof connectors and/or conduits are used on the matching canon connectors.
(5) XYZ1-series motors with all flange sizes and XYZ2-series motors with 42mm flange size are IP40 rated, but IP67 rated waterproofing is also available as an option. XYZ2-series motors with flange sizes of 54mm, 76mm and 86mm have IP67 rated waterproofing.
2. Protective cover installation
(1) Install a protective cover as described below for motors continuously subjected to liquid.
(2) Turn the connectors (lead outlets) downwards within the angle range shown in the picture below.
(3) Install the cover to the side where the water or oil would drip.
(4) Create a slant in the cover to prevent water or oil from collecting.
(5) Make sure the cable does not get soaked in water or oil.
(6) Create sag on the cable outside the cover to make sure water or oil does not get to the motor.

SAN FRANCISCO - There is one Silicon Valley bubble that never deflated after the technology boom ended. As a new generation of tech start-ups prepares to take its shot at the big time, that could have disruptive consequences for the Valley's delicate entrepreneurial ecosystem.
There are, in short, too many venture capitalists with too much money to spend.
"The business is not contracting fast enough," complains Jim Breyer, a partner at Accel, one of the Valley's leading VC firms.
Bruce Dunlevie of Benchmark Capital, another firm that made a name for itself during the internet boom, adds: "It's a business with barriers to exit unlike any I know."
The overhang of money in the VC business is estimated at $80 billion to $100 billion, all of it committed by investors and waiting to find its way into promising young companies. With only some $18 billion put to work by VC firms last year, and fresh money starting to flow into the funds again, that over-capacity could take years to work off.
