I am English born and educated, although I lived in Italy for almost forty years, from childhood. This gave me the opportunity to absorb both the British and the Italian mindset, which has always been of great help in my chosen career. I consider myself completely bilingual. I relocated permanently to the UK in 2003 having spent the previous 25 years working full time as a legal translator and interpreter and running a successful translation business in Milan. I now work full-time as a freelance translator, specialising in legal, financial and literary translations.

I have recently translated six books for self-publishing authors.
